Ingredients

  • 2-3 Units Apples Green or Red
  • Sliced almonds
  • 1/4 Cup Tahini
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp  Cacao Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Greek Yogurt
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

For the monster's body:

  • Wash and dry apples, slice each apple into quarters, then cut out the core. Make a deep slit in the skin-side of each apple quarter to create a mouth. Don't cut all the way through

For the eyes

  •  In a small bowl, mix the coconut Greek yogurt with maple syrup. This creates the white of the eyes.Line a small tray or plate with parchment paper. Spoon the yogurt mixture into desired sized dollops, shaping them into oval or round "eye" shapes. Press one dark chocolate chip point-side-down into the center of each yogurt dollop to create a pupil. Carefully place the tray in the freezer for 30-60 minutes, until the eyes are firm to the touch.

Make Monster Coating:

  • Mix tahini, maple syrup, Cacao powder, vanilla and salt until smooth. Spread thickly over each apple quarter.
