Ingredients

  • For the body:
  • 24-32 seedless green grapes 6-8 per snake
  • 4 skewer sticks
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or agave
  • For the head and details:
  • 4 small strawberries for triangular heads
  • 8 dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of melted dark chocolate as “glue”
  • For the "scales" effect:
  • 1 tblspn of coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of matcha powder

Instructions

Create the scale effect:

  • Mix the coconut sugar with matcha.
  • Then brush the grapes with a little lemon juice.
  • Once you do that, roll the grapes in the green sugar mixture to create a scaly skin effect.

Assemble the snakes:

  • Cut the strawberries into triangular shapes for the heads.
  • Thread the grapes onto the skewers, starting with the strawberry head at the end. Then, gently bend the skewers to form a slithering snake shape.

Add details:

  • Attach the chocolate chip eyes with melted chocolate.
