Notes

A few years ago Jon and I calculated how much we spent on drinking coffee out (hint it was $$$)and decided to splurge and get a fancy espresso machine. The rule was that we weren’t allowed to buy coffee out until the machine had paid itself off. We got this fancy espresso machine on a Black Friday sale, and within a few months it paid itself off.
Nowadays we like our coffee way  better than anything Starbucks has to offer. At Sozo we were gifted a Nespresso machine like this one, and I have to say it makes pretty great espresso too.
I am a mocha fan and this is one of my favorite recipes.  I initially found the recipe on the 100 Days of Real Food website. This is not a plant based website, but teaches you to look at ingredients and take the processed food out of your diet- one of the best things you can do for yourself. I frequently modify these recipes to make them plant-based.
So brew some espresso, heat up a plant based milk and enjoy yourself a Maple Mocha!

I love this! Dr Young made this for me the first day I was at Sozo, I now drink it every morning! I use the Oat milk from Costco and the maple syrup and the cocoa powder! I even bought the Nespresso machine, and the frother! It was that good!!!! Love it!
