Notes

🌿 Health Benefits of the Spices:
  • Cinnamon: Packed with antioxidants and shown to help regulate blood sugar levels. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and may support heart health.
  • Turmeric: Known for its powerful compound curcumin, turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, which may help protect against chronic disease.
  • Black Pepper: Enhances the absorption of curcumin from turmeric by up to 2,000%. Also aids digestion and has its own anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Cayenne Pepper: Contains capsaicin, which can boost metabolism, improve circulation, and support pain relief. A small amount adds warmth without overpowering the drink.
  • Cocoa Powder: Rich in flavonoids that may improve mood, brain function, and heart health. Also offers a delicious, chocolatey depth.
  • Maple Syrup (in moderation): A natural sweetener with trace minerals like manganese and zinc—use sparingly for just a touch of sweetness.
